No School - Snow Day

Due to poor road conditions and ice still in place in many areas throughout the district, the School District of Washington will be closed on Thursday, January 9. This is inclement weather day No. 4. We would like to thank our district’s Buildings and Grounds staff and Washington city crews, who have been working hard to get us back to school safely as soon as possible. With approximately eight inches of snow, along with ice, it’s been a challenge to clear roads, parking lots, sidewalks and entrance ways at and around our 11 schools throughout the district. We look forward to being back in school soon.
